What is a Lenticular Filter?

The ErtelAlsop Pak® module is constructed from multiple lenticular cells—stacked discs of depth filter media—sealed together around a central polypropylene core. This design mirrors the functionality of a plate and frame filter press but within a closed, leak-free housing. The result is a high-surface-area filter that traps particulates within the media matrix (depth filtration) as well as on the surface, offering high solids loading capacity and excellent filtrate clarity.
