What are Lenticular Pak® Cartridges?

The ErtelAlsop Pak® is a modular depth filter system utilizing a “lenticular” design. Each module is constructed from stacked filter cells—typically ranging from 5 to 18 cells per cartridge. These cells are composed of dual sheets of depth filter media (such as MicroMedia® or AlphaMedia®) sealed together at the edges using a patented polypropylene molding process. The result resembles a stack of double convex lenses.

This design offers the high surface area and filtration quality of a filter press but within a totally enclosed, leak-free housing. It is the ideal upgrade for facilities looking to reduce product loss, eliminate leakage, and streamline the change-out process.
