What is a Lenticular Filter?
The concept of the lenticular filter module was originally developed to improve upon the limitations of filter presses. A “Pak” consists of multiple depth filter cells stacked vertically. Each cell is comprised of two sheets of filter media sealed at the edges, resembling a double convex lens (hence the term “lenticular”).
This design packs a massive amount of surface area into a compact footprint. Fluid flows from the outside of the cartridge, through the depth media, and into the central core, trapping particulates within the complex matrix of the media fibers.
