What is a Pak® Lenticular Filter?

The “Lenticular” design gets its name from the shape of the stacked filter cells, which resemble double convex lenses. A Pak® cartridge is assembled from multiple individual cells (ranging from 5 to 18 stacks), each comprised of a pair of depth filter media sheets.

These edges are sealed using a patented process (typically polypropylene) to create a robust, leak-free unit. The result is a depth filter that offers:

• Total Containment: Unlike open press filters, lenticular housings are totally enclosed, preventing leaks and reducing exposure to the product.
